Booking terms & conditions
Thank you for considering to book your stay with us, your custom is appreciated. We hope you enjoy your visit to Llanungar, Solva as much as we enjoy living here.
Llanungar Caravan and Camping is a family park catering for touring caravans/trailer tents/tents and motor caravans. We also have a number of static caravans that we rent on a weekly basis as holiday homes. Our guests’ enjoyment and safety are paramount and therefore we ask you to read the following Terms and Conditions before making your booking.
Visitors must adhere to our site licences (licence to operate as a static caravan park and licence to operate as a camping site for tents, tourers and motorhomes). These licences can be found displayed on the notice board in our visitors’ information room. They are not onerous in content, just detail standard conditions associated with running a static caravan and camping park.
We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these terms and conditions or, who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors, to leave the park immediately. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you.
Access statement and policy
We seek to provide the very best service to all our guests and we have an access statement available which describes the facilities we have to offer on the park. This includes a copy of our Terms and Conditions and a Booking Form, both in large print. If you would like a copy, or wish to discuss any other particular needs you have, please call us or email us and we would be happy to talk to you.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your property by theft or otherwise or for personal injury. This does not however affect your rights if loss or damage or personal injury occurred through fault on our part.
We cater for families and couples and we do not accept bookings from all male or all female parties of four or more persons without prior agreement. We also reserve the right to refuse any booking.
Bookings can be made in the following ways:
- Using our on-line booking service on our website at www.llanungar.wales
- By telephone on 07837 995910 and pay by cheque or a credit/debit card (cheques should be made payable to ‘Llanungar Caravan and Camping’).
- The person who signs the Booking Form is responsible for the booking and warrants that they are over 18 years of age and that the party will not exceed the numbers stated on the booking form.

This contract is with Llanungar Caravan and Camping. A contract exists as soon as we have issued our confirmation form and you should please check this carefully to see that it reflects your wishes. Please inform us of any discrepancy within 7 days unless your holiday is to start within 14 days in which case you should inform us within 24 hours.
The terms contained in this contract do not affect your statutory rights. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the brochure/other material and prices at the time of printing, errors occasionally occur. You must therefore ensure you check all details of your chosen property or pitch and arrangements (including the price) with Llanungar at the time of booking.
We will, however, use our best endeavours to notify you of any changes to, or inaccuracies in, any information contained in the brochure or otherwise provided to you as soon as reasonably practical after we become aware of the change or inaccuracy.
We reserve the right to alter the Terms & Conditions at any time.
When you book the rental of a Holiday Home property or pitch, you enter into a contract with Llanungar Caravan and Camping.
The Price of the holiday
Once you have made your booking and paid a deposit of 25% of the total price of the holiday, the price will not be subject to any change unless the rate of VAT changes.
The balance of the price of your holiday must be paid at least 28 days before the start date. If the balance is not paid in time, we are entitled to cancel the holiday and retain your deposit.
The prices listed include VAT.
Cancellation of the holiday by you
You may cancel your holiday at any time. Cancellation will be effective on the date it is received by us. However, cancellation charges are payable as follows:
More than 28 days Deposit only
15 to 28 days 50% of total holiday cost
14 days and under 70% holiday cost
Change or cancellation of the holiday by us
If we are unable to provide the booked holiday and have had to cancel before the holiday is due to start, you are entitled to a full refund of the money you have paid. Except where the cancellation or change arises from an unforeseeable or unusual occurrence outside our control as described in the next section we will pay compensation (per adult person) as follows:
More than 100 days nil
50 to 99 days £1
15 to 49 days £5
Under 15 days £10
Unforeseeable or unusual occurrences beyond our control include but are not limited to war, threat of war, riot, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster and fire.
Holiday hehaviour standards and termination
By making a booking with us you have entered a contract in which you undertake, on behalf of yourself and the people in your party (including children), to adopt the following standards of behaviour:
- To act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.
- To supervise children properly so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.
- You further agree that you will not:
– commit any criminal offence at the Park or undertake any criminal activity
– commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance
– keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon at the Park
– use any unlawful drugs
– create any undue noise or disturbance
– carry on any trade or business while on the Park.
Quiet hours are from 11.00pm until 7.00am. Please respect your fellow guests and keep noise to an absolute minimum.
Health and safety
We take the wellbeing and safety of our guests very seriously and we ask that you comply with the following:
- The speed limit on the park is 5 mph.
- All vehicles must conform to the Road Traffic Act and have current tax, MOT and insurance. The provisions of the Highway Code apply to the roads on the park.
- Guests are not allowed to bring lorries or other commercial vehicles on to the park without prior consent. This includes towing vehicles.
- No recreational vehicles can be used on the park. This includes motorised scooters.
- No mechanical or repair work is to be undertaken on the park, unless it is carried out by a nationally recognized vehicle breakdown service.
- Only one vehicle can be parked next to the pitch. All other vehicles including trailers and boats must be parked elsewhere, please contact the site manager to discuss.
- There is an unfenced pond adjacent to the campsite and an irrigation pond neighbouring our site. We are surrounded by working farms, with associated heavy agricultural machinery passing nearby. Please do not allow children to be unaccompanied.
- In the unlikely event of a natural disaster or emergency requiring implementation of the park’s Emergency Action Plan you will be notified by alarm
- Please make yourself aware of the nearest fire point.

Dogs and other pets
Dogs are not permitted in our holiday home rental caravans.
The campsite does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
If you bring your dog with you when you stay with us on the campsite, we ask that you:
- Keep the dog on a short lead on the park at all times
- Clean up after your dog
- Do not leave your dog unattended at any time
- Exercise your dog off the park grounds
We reserve the right to ask owners to remove their dog, or any other pet, from the park if it is a nuisance or danger to other guests.
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR 2018, Llanungar Caravan and Camping are the sole data controller of all personal data provided to the Park by customers and prospective customers. In order to process your booking, the Park will need to collect certain personal details from you. These details will include your name and address, and where applicable credit/debit card or other payment details. The Park will also need to process and store your personal details for their own administration, marketing analysis and operational reviews.
For your safety and security, a number of CCTV cameras are positioned on the caravan park and campsite. These cameras record movement activities 24 hours per day. In case of an incident the data would be accessed and reviewed, before being passed on to the relevant agencies.
Complaints Every effort will be made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however we do not meet your expectations, it is essential that you contact a member of staff immediately. At this stage, if we feel your complaint is justified, we will do all we can to rectify the situation. If you wish to pursue your complaint following your departure, please write to us within 28 days of the end of your stay.
We reserve the right to alter the Terms and Conditions at any time.
General Information for tents, tourers and motorhomes
Pitches The size of your unit, including any tents and gazebos, must be stipulated at the time of booking to ensure that the allocated pitch is large enough. Should you subsequently alter your requirements we cannot guarantee to provide an appropriately sized pitch. Please advise us if you are likely to arrive later than 6.00pm. If we have not heard from you within 24 hours of your expected arrival, we reserve the right to re-sell your pitch. All pitches must be vacated by midday on the day of your departure otherwise, without prior permission, an additional night’s pitch fee will be charged.
You are requested not to arrive before 1pm. Latest arrival time is 9pm without prior permission. Allocation of pitches is automated via our booking software. During quieter times it may be possible to allocate you a specific pitch, however, it must be clearly understood that acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch without prior agreement. Your pitch number and directions will be confirmed when booking. If you are in any doubt whether you are on the correct pitch, please check with a member of staff. Any guest on the incorrect pitch may be required to move.
Please leave six metres between yourselves and your neighbours. Vehicles and ancillary equipment are permitted within this six metre space but there must be a 3 metre unoccupied space between you and your neighbours.
Open fires and ground level barbeques are not permitted. Please use the fire bricks provided or other appropriate material to raise BBQ’s at least 40 cm off the ground to avoid damage to the grass.
Wherever possible, please use aertex type ground sheets on grassed areas to limit damage.
The use of generators is not permitted without prior permission.
Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly-prohibited and the natural conditions are not to be disturbed.
Please note that should you wish to extend your stay beyond the booked dates there is no guarantee that the same pitch will be available.
It is regretted that no refunds can be given if guests depart prior to the end of the booked holiday, unless they do so as the result of the breach of some obligation on our part which would justify cancelling the holiday.
No smoking in any of the buildings on the caravan park.
General information for visitors staying in our holiday static caravans
It is requested that you arrive at the holiday home after 3pm. You must vacate the property by 11am on the day of departure and keys must be left on the dining table.
On arrival please familiarise yourselves and those staying with you of all fire exits from the holiday home. The fire escape route from the bedrooms / bathrooms is via the windows.
Our holiday homes can only be used for recreational, non-commercial purposes.
No pets are permitted in our holiday homes.
In accordance with our licence, no temporary structures are permitted alongside the caravan.
If using a BBQ please ensure hot coals cannot damage the decking, ideally BBQ to the side of the caravan or on suitable ground within or outside of the caravan park. Fire bricks are available on request.
By making your booking, you agree to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the property in the same condition as it was at the start of the holiday (reasonable wear and tear excepted). A full contents inventory is available at each holiday home for guest’s information. Any costs incurred to repair or replace damages caused by guests will be reclaimed by Llanungar against the person making the booking. On arrival please inform us of any part of the caravan that is damaged or any item that is missing.
Bed linen is provided for all beds booked and hand towels and tea towels are also provided. This is included in the cost of your stay. You will need to bring your own bath towels and beach towels, although we can provide these at a small additional cost, on request.
All Holiday Homes abide by the no smoking law.
Only one car may be parked in the area adjacent to the property. If required, a second car may be parked to the rear of the holiday home.
